Extremely random but does anybody remember the song ‘I’m a true Leicester fan’ to the tune of yesterday man? I had a CD as a kid with the post horn gallop on and it was a an absolute banger, even though I’ve not heard the song in over 10 years some of the lyrics are cemented in my brain, I would love it someone has this as I can’t find it anywhere on the internet (shockingly)

im a true Leicester fan

football mad is what I am

I’ve supported the foxes for ages travelled all over to watch them play

with a flash of tea and programme with pages (?)

and oh what a journey it’s been

mixing it up with the cream(?)

im a true Leicester tan

Fascinated to know if anyone else remembers this song and would love to hear it again 🤣🦊

I’ve got it still.

It’s in my collection of City CD’s and DVD’s. Those were the days.

The other day I was listening to a podcast on the legendary record producer Trevor Horn (The Buggles, ABC, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Yes, Art Of Noise, Malcolm Mclaren, Grace Jones, Seal and er Dollar).

Anyway some of you may not realise - but Trevor lived in Leicester during the 1960s and 70s.

Consequently this 1974 classic was an early Trevor Horn production:-

...well you've got to start somewhere!
