I'm a massive fan of Fatawu but he has been a bit hit and miss recently. He seems to have stopped keeping defenders guessing by sometimes going outside and crossing with his right foot. He seems to be forever cutting inside and playing long passes/ crosses to the back post. Can only think this must be on Enzo's instructions. Earlier in the season, I remember something similar in the home game v Leeds when having absolutely murdered poor old Sam Byram in the first half with his speed, dribbling and trickery, in the second half he stopped taking him on altogether and instead repeatedly attempted crossfield passes to Stephy.

Don’t forget what Enzo said..

young player still has man & player learning his job,he will bring indifferent

moments and performances, but can turn a game quickly..

When I see now Fatawu now on the ball,he is moving the ball differently, taking up central positions occasionally, defending seemly well down his line, but also will

aim for Stephi has passing move or far post target…

This I believe is Enzo asking some of his players to try something different at various times to move opposition around and not being able to automatically

be sure of covering designated spaces…then sometimes suddenly Fatawu will

run into the corner,or stop and feed & free Praet (earlier Ndidi) to get behind the defence and put those dangerous crosses in..

Of late more than before, but not so often has Fatawu,Mavididi moves into the centre with KDH or Winks being his get out or play the dummy, but also bringing in

Fatawu..

Can only assume you didn’t watch it.

I did, it was a decent performance by a team that is much superior to the opposition. Nowhere near our best half of football. Fair play if Strider reckons it was the best example of us putting the tactics into play.

I dno, I'll be interested to see if people are still giving each other soapy tit wanks and high fives for loving being robotic and creating little excitement when we're facing better teams. 3-0 losses will be rated in our top 10 performances as Harry Winks and Vesty touch the ball a combined 500 times.

The hyperbole is what annoys me to be honest (I realise I used it just now :D) , people going well overboard. It was a solid performance against a team we're better than.

Best half of the season is a wild statement.

when you think about it. you're always beating Wednesday on a Tuesday.

Strictly speaking, you're always 1-0 ahead of Wednesday when your Tuesday. But Leicester Tuesday FC will never catch on.

We’ve been crying out for one, never mind two exciting wingers, for years. If you can’t enjoy the ride now you’re never going to enjoy it

Yeh I like him but just imagine how good he could be if he learns to give that ball in a little earlier of not hang on to it for so long.
