Yes, they are.

Thoughout  the EFL the process ‘ will be a an allowable spend against income. There are subtle differences such as the allowable % but also what counts toward that spend.

One thing I would suggest that is worth keeping an eye on is how LCFC transfer spend and income changes downward. That said you will need to watch just how stretched things become when the club tries to get close to spending 65% .

By that I mean that irrespective of anything else the cost of running the club I would imagine is going to exceed 35% of all income and whilst there is room to inject equity the question then is how much Top can / will be able to invest

Put another way the club bleeds money keeping the stadium the training ground and paying  non playing staff members and it’s that issue certainly in 26/27 that is going to be a problem

From what I have read, all clubs were required to submit an SCMP business plan in June and update it in December. In addition, clubs are subject to ongoing financial reporting requirements and must provide updated information whenever there are significant changes to player wages, contracts, or other material financial commitments. This effectively creates a system of regular, near real-time monitoring to ensure clubs remain compliant with SCMP regulations.

Which is probably why the signings of Chaplin and McCarthy were delayed, we likely needed to move a few players off the wage bill first. I think we'll see a few players leave and a few arrive throughout the summer as the club manages its budget.

He's gone. All we should be concerned with is whether we get any cash from a sell on clause. Hopefully history repeats itself and he sulks and pushes for a move if that's the case...

Absolutely right. The guy is a complete unlikable no mark who disregards contracts and feels he's bigger than any of his employers. I despise players like him. However if we can get some sell on money then maybe...nah I'll still despise him.
