Toronto’s the only team that can take the Dodgers out of their comfort zone, even with LA’s pitching lining up at the right time. Home field advantage is going to be huge here. Hell, I’ve just put a fiver on Toronto +180.

Going to be  a tough series i want to say Dodgers are the favourites (league position aside)

Honestly, haven't watched that much baseball since my dad's been gone. He always had the game on. I just assume the Dodgers are good. I just know Ohtani lol

I hope you're right mate. Been waiting for this since we last won in the early 90s when I was like 13 lol

In 2016 we kind of expected a great season after the 2015 bat-flip season, but for 2025, expectations were pretty low - I mean we finished in last place in the AL east last year! So the turnaround has been hugely enjoyable and unexpected - makes it all the more sweeter. Throw in a bunch of likeable underdog players such as Ernie Clement, Nathan Lukes, Miles Straw, a sensational rookie in Trey Yesavage, and a resurgent veteran in George Springer who put up career-high numbers at the age of 36, all added to star-players Vladdy and Bo Bichette, it's been a season for the ages for Blue Jays fans regardless of what happens against the heavily-favoured Dodgers.

I feel like we had better individual players in 15/16, with Bautista, Donaldson, Encarnacion etc, but this year we have a better team. To get to a first World Series in 32 years says it all really.

Was looking at tickets, but $2000 is a bit out of my price range.

Even if i had the money to blow on that, no feckin chance I'd pay it. I understand supply/demand but people being robbed blind here.

Same. Bought a 75 inch tv for my basement last year after waiting like 3 years. I enjoy watching other things on it too (when the family isn't around)
