I will never understand hating or disliking a player solely based on their ability. A lot of the players here were heroes two years ago and two bad managerial appointments later that’s seems to have flipped on its head. 
 

It’s clear that this is a group of players that is very low on confidence, and they’re certainly not being inspired by their fan base. Not saying that they have to be but it does compound the negativity especially when players look terrified of trying anything remotely risky out of fear, just look at Skipp’s performances. 
 

I’ve seen a few posts on here about accepting a scenario in which we don’t go up but the academy players are given minutes and developed. That would imply they would accept a few bad performances and losses, but now that it’s actually happened the same grace isn’t given. 

Any anger should be directed at those running the club, as ultimately they alone are responsible for the decline we’ve seen over the past few years.

Stolarczyk - fine at Champs might be ok in Prem (but we're not getting back there this season after last night)

Justin - higher level at Champs, don't have any major issues with him

Souttar - Gets better every week not playing, just don't know what he's got BUT better than whats there

Ricardo - Leicester star BUT the sicknote thing is a massive shame, was even great in Champs 2 seasons ago, just cultured, intelligent and bothered

Thomas - Championship level ONLY, not reliable enough, form too up and down

Harry Winks - Cultured (LCFC need to take him on the journey), major asset at Champs level when committed and bothered, Sunday showed that

BEK & Fatawu - nothing to say, standout

Alves & Braybrooke just haven't seen enough of them

Ayew - really surprised me Sunday, star man last 30 mins, but need that level every week BUT IS NOT A NO 9, get 10-12 goals if we are lucky and we score a lot???

Stephy - Plays when he wants to, bit of a show pony BUT does have some end product, fine at Champs level did is 2 years ago, can do it again

Monga - still young, will be a star

Ben Nelson - I really want it to work

 

So we are relying on 12-14 footballers, 2 are too young, 1 is always injured, 1-3 could be off and don't expect a replacement.  Its on the above for promotion.  Don't expect any promotion from the swamp below into this group.

 

The rest have repeatedly proved either they think they are better than they are or just are not very good i.e. Wout, super limited Vesty, lazy, not very intelligent Soumare, after repeated trials just not very effective to the point of poor Skipp, Daka sad but true-awful if you're judged on finishing, BDCR where is he? Mcateer just don't get him as a winger or a footballer really, Hamza 1 good game in 20, Victor whats happening there?  Okoli can he stay and get better? 

Have to mention Top and Rudders, what they have done financially to the club to leave us with this list and 2 relegations in 3 seasons after 9 top flight seasons, business management that would have both gone were they in any other business.  Football acumen off the scale of stupidity, somebody bought Skipp for big bucks AND bought Coulibaly in for what purpose?  Stunning ineptitude.

Nah, it's really not that bad. The squad is in Stark contrast to the one 5-10 years ago, but we've been far, far worse. The dirge years in the mid 00s were something else entirely.

 

About being dislikeable, that's very subjective. Actually think a lot of the players come across as likeable off the pitch. I.e. Daka seems a genuinely humble and nice fella and he does try. Back in the days of Tricky Trev, he would've been a cult hero.
