Chief Keef

Challinor makes a lot of sense so we won’t go for him

McCarthy O’Hora/Aluko Souttar Kangasniemi Mcfarlane Page Lundstrum Joseph (If fit)/Aluko/Burns Alves Doyle Riis

Absolutely and they have been for a while. I feel the solution at the moment has to be 3 at the back with Page and Lundstrum as two sitting midfielders ahead of them. At least that gives us a solid base from which to defend counters, and avoids us having to play with a right winger as they’re all rubbish.

The more I look at him the more I like the idea of this signing. Only 21 but has 80+ games in league one and has good numbers when playing as an 8/10

Would work out pretty nicely if he gains some momentum in league 2 then comes back like a fresh new signing in Jan

Makes sense if Skipps gone and Lundstrom/Page are the options at 6.

Much quicker than Grealish ever was

I think you could argue Pepple is the most powerful forward he could face this season

I get the intention with this signing but can’t help but feel we are really short of goals from midfield. If Lundstrum, Braybrooke and Page is our starting 3 we will need one or two of them to step up and get 8/9 goals this season

If we’re sticking to the same 4-1-4-1 then in my mind Page is the choudhury replacement at 6, with Skipp as his cover. I can’t see Chaplin being fit enough to play lots of minutes this season, so priority should be an 8 who can contribute in terms of goals and assists. Ideally someone who adds some height and athleticism to midfield. Can’t imagine there’s many players that are realistic that meet that criteria.

That’s a superb signing for them, we should’ve been all over this given we need numbers at CB

Was he not saying we want 3-4 in after Ipswich or am I imagining that? 2 centre backs sure but surely another midfielder and striker is needed

Would like to see one of Braybrooke or Page become the starting 6 if Kelly comes in as an 8

Macfarlane looks good in the air

Page is superb how has Skipp been playing ahead of him
