So what?  It’s not about the league it’s about the player. A player doesn’t suddenly become worth less. By that logic you could have Bellingham in your side, get relegated to league 1 and he’s suddenly worth what, 60% of his true value?

 

No. It’s nothing to do with the players worth and everything to do with the financial situation of the club in these circumstances. If we don’t need to sell we shouldn’t unless our valuation is met.

Thats basically what we paid for him, hes young and still shows plenty of potential. I wouldnt say its a ‘hell of a deal’ its the bare minimum we should be getting for our most valuable asset
