It is important to the Foxes Trust that we accurately reflect the views of our membership. To help us do that, last week we launched a short Pulse Survey, designed to act as a barometer of members’ opinions on the club’s leadership, management and ownership.

The results will provide guidance as we consider our approach over the coming weeks and months, ahead of our next more comprehensive end-of-season survey.

This survey is for members only. If you have not received an email containing your link then please get in touch.

I’m probably going to get pelters for this and it isn’t a ‘be careful what you wish for’ comment , but the only thing that stopped me short of submitting this survey, was the lack of a caveat for a Saudi/Chansiri type owner being that one that takes us over.

I had completely filled the survey out expressing my dissatisfaction for the ownership but that question really made me think about how the trust should be very clear in its communication on what we want our future ownership to look like. Whether beggars can be choosers is a whole other thing entirely.

I hope that makes sense and you understand what I mean.

I can understand the Chansiri one but why not a Saudi owner the PIf have done right by Newcastle. Maybe you would prefer an asset stripping American. An owner that does right by the club is OK with me regardless of background.

Tbh I stopped myself from typing an asset stripping owner as I also thought that was a given based on what I mentioned, you get the point.

What’s the best email to use if you’ve not had one please?

It's a fair point, but it can't get much worse than it is now. If we had a Chansiri then I think even the KP fan type would realise that we need a change because it would be so overtly bad. At the moment there is enough subtlety (it's not actually subtle) to the way Top is ruining the club, it allows their naiveté/ignorance to not see the signs for what they are.

Sadly, the Newcastle takeover was the absolute final nail on the coffin and I suspect that football clubs as we know them will all be gone in 20 years or so, so I'd rather chance it with a dodgy oil owner

It is shockingly bad at the minute,  but the point I’m making is I don’t just want it going into the first hands that put the money forward. The Trust would need to be clear on the owners we want, in my opinion.

The survey has closed now but might be worth emailing [email protected] to make sure you're not missing any other emails.

Thank you, I will do. I usually get them but it must’ve be an oversight on this occasion.

That's totally fair. But as you said, beggars can't be choosers
