Remember this! On the corner of Filbert/Burnmoor street, heard the roar as our goals were scored, they let us into the old pen 2 with about ten minutes to go if my memory serves me right?!

Yeah... funny what you remember!I wasn't sure if it was the Cambridge game or queing overnight for the final against Blackburn! That was another cold, but memorable night.....i was quite near the front, got a ticket and walked up Raw Dykes Road.......There were people with empty oil drums having fires near to Morrisons as it is now!

It was the Cambridge league game just before the play offs that I got locked out of, pretty sure the play off was all ticket.

Spurs away in 14/15.

Pregnant partner (8 weeks before due date) was in pain about a couple of hours before I was due to get the train down.

Raced her to the hospital in the hope she'd get the all-clear and I could head down to London... as it was, that decision ended up saving her life and the life of my youngest Son who was born 30 minutes after we arrived at the hospital.

Typically, my mates ended up on a table on the train with Muzzy and Walshy, and we didn't lose another game except Chelsea at home that season lol

I did manage to watch the game whilst "getting some food" though

Play off v Cambridge at Filbo.......got to the turnstile to pay my £5 and was told it was sold out!......Still had a great night as a few others were locked out as well,so we organised an inpromptu Footy game on Filbert St with about 20 a side and taking turns to look through the gates at the side of the old entrance(That should have been preserved and incorporated in some way to the KP) to see what the score was! God know's what the people in the houses thought about it!

That night I had got to the New Road Inn and realised I had forgotten my match ticket so nearly fell into this category. Luckily my Old Man begrudgingly dropped it off for me.

Still one of my favourite City games. Ooh! Tommy Wright.

Since moving away I can make weekends games but not weekdays so I missed all of the Champions League / UEFA Cup / Europa League / Conference tin pot thingymajic trophy etc.

I can proudly say though that I saw us play in the (fanfare) Anglo-Italian Cup . Against f***ing Grimsby :dunno:

We all want to know what happened after with Luca back  at the airbnb!!!:kissing:

😆😆 ah bless him, he was probably around 75 years old back then. That doesn’t imply anything! I don’t swing that way. But it was nice for him to know I had no one to celebrate with so he came and joined me.
