Leicester City head to Meadow Lane for a 12:30pm BST kick-off vs. Notts County in what will be Manager Russell Martin’s first league game in charge of the Foxes.
Ben Nelson is the only long-term absentee in the City squad heading into the weekend, with the centre-back expected to miss the ‘majority’ of 26/27 with an ACL injury.
Goalkeeper McCarthy and midfielder Chaplin, on the other hand, also missed last weekend’s Carabao Cup First Round success over Northampton Town.
“[Chaplin] is still injured, but there’s no new injuries,” Martin told reporters in Seagrave on Friday afternoon. “We’re as-is. [McCarthy] is ready to go.”
After a positive pre-season and last weekend's victory at King Power Stadium, Martin knows some tough decisions will have to be made when confirming his matchday squad for Saturday.
“Pretty much everyone is fit and raring to go which makes it difficult to choose a squad,” he added.

Martin, speaking to the media in Seagrave on Friday, provided an update on the condition of his players, with Conor Chaplin remaining out, but better news elsewhere in the squad.

As well as confirming Lundstram is likely to be 'in the squad' at the weekend, the Manager also said: "Caleb is back. Whether he’s ready for the squad or not, we need to decide.
