C-man Posted 1 January 2006 Posted 1 January 2006 Ok, so as i said in this thread here, i'm willing to admit that i was wrong about Levein, he has to go because relegation seems a HUGE threat at the moment However, i am worried because i think the sacking of Levein will come too late. There will be 4, maybe less, months for the new manager to adapt to our squad, and pull us away from the relegation zone. If we do get a new manager, i think we have to get back to basics. Also, i dont want Levein blowing what little money we have left on a shiit player that the next manager will leave on the bench or be forced to use.

I was supporting him aswell saying he needs more time, but that exact day he plays a 4-5-1 formation, when i have just said that he is starting to play more attacking football and good football. What did we have 2 shots against reading? I think we need to give a new manager january to get in one or two of his own players

Yeah - new man must be given the money - not Levein.
Muz Posted 1 January 2006 Posted 1 January 2006 No doubt if Levein gets the money , he'll go straight for an average at best SPL striker. Levein needs to go , he's ruining our club and driving away the fans.
Babylon Posted 1 January 2006 Posted 1 January 2006 He's bringing this club to its knees. I think Taylor, Adams and bassett had done a pretty good job of that before he came in.
TornadoShaunUK Posted 1 January 2006 Posted 1 January 2006 I think Taylor, Adams and bassett had done a pretty good job of that before he came in. so your blaming our current plight on them?
Babylon Posted 1 January 2006 Posted 1 January 2006 so your blaming our current plight on them? Did I say that, Jesus. Taylors choice of players and getting us relegated plus Adams and Bassetts transfer policy has all added to our current plight. For people to be so blind to blame absolutly everything on Levein is ridiculous.

Levein has added a fair number of players to the squad now and it is him who has been picking the team for the past season or so. He apparently shipped out all the deadwood, bought in some talent.. and bought in some more deadwood. You can't blame this on past managers, Levein has had enough time to put his own touch on the team and at the moment it isn't paying off.

C'mon, Levein isn't getting us the results we so desperately need, he surely deserves criticism for that, but you can't write off the positive things he's done for the club so arbitarily.
