Jordan Posted 4 January 2006 Share Posted 4 January 2006 Essein - what a tool. I hope he's fvcked through the World Cup so that he doesn't ruin an American player's career.

Oli Posted 5 January 2006 Share Posted 5 January 2006 Essien is a class player. No poncing around what I like to see.
Jordan Posted 5 January 2006 Share Posted 5 January 2006 He'd certainly be a "class" player if he played with class. It's one thing to go out there and play hard and make tough tackles but it's another thing to lose composure and make ugly ones. I should back off my earlier statement a little bit--it's no good to see players get hurt.

He was known for it in France as well, i think it was a tackle on a Metz player, he did it in the last minute when the guy was playing the ball back to his keeper (to see the game out) and they were winning 3 - 0 anyway.
