And we're going to improve defitnley. Mick adams should not be doubted. Pressman is amazing, he made amazing saves from what i've heard. Benjamin and Dublin did well. PPl who doubt heath, he scored didnt he?

I hope people say well done to MA for signing Pressman!! Everyone was quick to critisise and call him an idiot for signing him, will they be as quick to say well done? I doubt it very much.

I remember meeting KP just after he signed for us and he was the only one at the training ground, the rest were up in Scotland. I looked at him and thought what a dodgy signing but it'll be alright because he won't play too often. Well I take that back. He's been brilliant in all the games he's played and MA should be credited for signing him.

In the words of Al Pachino in Scent of a woman, 'WHOOOOOAAAAAHHHH!!!!' Come on City, lets grab the league by the nuts and twist! Even if we are moaning and criticising in a few days time, a win is a win...Blue and White army forever...no matter who is in charge!

Yeah credit where credit is due Pressman has done well so far but just as you ask for players to be given time when they are playing badly the same must be said for players who start off playing well remember Junior Lewis :D

Seriously though a decent result tonight especially bearing in mind the pressure Micky has been under since the weekend, but to be fair in the past he has always produced results when the odds are stacked against him, he does seem to have an ability to instill a siege mentality into the players.

Now what we need is a decent run, build up some confidence and start to put pressure on the top six. The pressure is still on Micky and he desperately needs to win the next couple of games and then keep that momentum for after the international break.

Good result, but can anyone see us scoring against Preston, who will do exactly the same as what Brighton, Watford and Burnley did to us?

We can't break down teams at home, it's been a long running problem. A 2-0 win away at Gillingham won't change much.....

I recond we will beat them on saturday, but lose in the cup :(

I reckon we'll draw both games, and win the cup game on a penalty shoot out. ;)

You know how much i dislike Micky and i admit to being very wrong on Pressman, he has done us very well.

Benjamin starts next match, we'll win if he dont, we wont. :)

The first half was disappointing.

The second half only got better because we scored, and Gillingham, who were already pushing forward and leaving plenty of room, had to attack even more to try to get back into it.

The goal and space seemed to give the players more confidence, and we started to look better on the counterattack, which is where the 2nd came from.

As Scowy has already posted, any team prepared to sit back will give us far more problems than we had last night.

As for Pressman, he has been a great replacement for Walker, some superb saves, and IMO, his distribution is better.

Well I'm happy we won, I'm sure the players will come out more confident on Saturday. Seems like Trev made a huge difference last night on the pitch, he plays with passion for Leicester City and it seems like it's rubbing off.

Come on people let's enjoy this taste of victory - before the whingers start, I know it was only Gillingham and I know it was only one win - but it's instilled confidence in the team let's have a little confidence in the fans.

Pleased we won, even though before the game I wasn't that arsed if we lost because it would of been another nail in Micko's coffin. Anyway, give credit where it's due we sounded like we did well there. Alot still needs to be done to sort this club out and I don't care who does it aslong as they do. If it's Micky who does it, then fair play to him. But, if the performances are still crap and we still go round and round in circles then the vultures will be out again and rightly so. But let's celebrate the win, now let's keep it up and break a team down at home please it's embarassing to watch otherwise.

Pressman makes me piss, what a legend.

I agree that Preston will come to the WS to defend and put 10 men behind the ball, but if we can get an early goal then it will open the game up and play into our hands. That's why a high tempo start for us is vital (just like we did V Sheff Utd), otherwise it could be Watford, Burnley, Brighton all over again.
