MONreborn Posted 4 January 2006 Share Posted 4 January 2006 The best by a Leicester player was the goal you mentioned IMO what a volley by Lilian. Matty Taylor and Sidwell have also come close however.

Bert Posted 4 January 2006 Share Posted 4 January 2006 Yeah the same for me but that night every single goal was class even scowys header. Jordan Stewart's goal against Rotherham, Kevin Philips goal for Southampton against us, and Steve Sidwell's goal for Reading against us.
syston_fox Posted 4 January 2006 Share Posted 4 January 2006 Keven Phillips for Southampton was quite a special strike. Three of the four goals against Leeds were great strikes: Lilians Volley, Dickovs volley where the ball went from our penalty area to their goal without hitting the floor (Walker goal kick, Deane flick on, Dickov controlled on his chest and volleyed in), and then Dickovs second was a beauty as well, especially considering the fact that it was Paul Robinson in goal. Thats because the finishing was just top class, not many keepers would've saved any of them goals.

MONreborn Posted 5 January 2006 Share Posted 5 January 2006 Big Trev's opener against Pompey also very well celebrated. I think both Goals against the Saints were also very well celebrated. I thought we would go on to comfortably stay up that season
SystonFox Posted 5 January 2006 Share Posted 5 January 2006 best goal outside this season for leicester, easily nalis's wonder strike live on tv and a 4-0 thumping of leeds. goal scored against? probably matt taylor for pompey in our promotion season when it finished 1-1? or steve sidwell last year. goal scored this season, mightily impressed with humes goal against crewe and also his 2nd vs sheff utd. goal scored against us this season...definitely brkovic for luton, overhead scissor kick very well taken goal. dont see them often.
