Lineker's Left Foot Posted 6 January 2006 Share Posted 6 January 2006 Hey, remember any strikers who ALWAYS seemed to score against US (and no it wasn't really Thierry Henry surprisingly).... In the late 1980s/early 1990s we always had the following score against us:- Bernie Slaven (Middlesbrough) Andy Payton (Barnsley and Hull) Keith Edwards (Hull) Tony Agana and Brian Deane (Sheffield United) Trevor Morley (West Ham) All OLD GREATS and of course Deane played for us. Any of you remember these or do you think we could tempt them off their zimmerframes at the moment for us????

syston_fox Posted 6 January 2006 Share Posted 6 January 2006 Not a striker but John Moncur for west ham always seemed to get the winner against us and west ham would win 1-0!
Thracian Posted 6 January 2006 Share Posted 6 January 2006 I remember Paul Peschisolido engineering a Stoke win over us a few years ago. But, no, it's not a suggestion.

Head Honcho Posted 6 January 2006 Share Posted 6 January 2006 I remember Julian Dicks always scored against us ... From Wikipedia Dicks had the honour of being the last Liverpool player to score in front of the standing Spion Kop, in 1993. Does anybody know if he is still a professional Golfer?
