King Kyle lcfc Posted 1 October 2004 Posted 1 October 2004 The fans must campaign against this we cant let our mooonkey!! leave. u watch one of our rivals snap him up.
desert fox Posted 1 October 2004 Posted 1 October 2004 I just saw a report on Teamtalk that suggests that Wolves Dave Jones might be interested in Keown. Apparently Keown had considered going to Molineux in the summertime. Jones had some interesting quotes: "I spoke to Martin on the phone during pre-season when we were on tour in Norway and while we were out there he came down to Wolverhampton to check the place out. "I don't know what's gone on at Leicester - whether he's knocked Micky's head off or whether Micky's knocked Martin's head off or what. "I'll find out sooner rather than later but at the moment I've enough worries with my own players rather than worrying about someone who's been released by another club. But defence is an area where we are short in numbers."
King Kyle lcfc Posted 1 October 2004 Posted 1 October 2004 Told you all the usual will want him Wolves cov pompey sheff utd etc
Cat Burger Posted 1 October 2004 Posted 1 October 2004 Is that the best the club can come up with as an excuse for letting him go on a free? He's been our best defender by far this season, Dabizas and Heath have been shocking generally. Elliott is still a few weeks from full fitness, and Stearman is unlikely to play.Adams losing the plot..... 23591 Now now, don't jump to any conclusions Scowy (and others). It's shocking that this has happened but who knows if it was Micky that made this decision!?!

Sparky Posted 1 October 2004 Posted 1 October 2004 adams cant handle big name players , get him out !
TrickyTrev Posted 1 October 2004 Posted 1 October 2004 Okay so Micky thinks that his ways are more effective than Arsene Wenger's. I wonder who has made the cock up here then?

Oli Posted 1 October 2004 Posted 1 October 2004 Adams out, Keown for manager. 23665 Best post all day. He will have more of a clue of football than adams. He wont play the HOOF!
Guest freund Posted 1 October 2004 Posted 1 October 2004 I thought Keown was signed with the intention of having a managerial part to play, correct me if I'm wrong.
Ajax Treesdown Posted 1 October 2004 Posted 1 October 2004 I AM GUESSING THAT THIS IS MICKY ADAMS MAKING RASH DECISIONS BECAUSE HE KNOWS HE COULD LOSE HIS JOB WHENEVER. HE HAS LOST THE FAITH OF THE FANS, SO I SAY BRING IN PHIL THOMPSON OR GARY MEGSON. COME ON BOARD, SORT IT OUT!!!!

Mark Posted 1 October 2004 Posted 1 October 2004 Theres only so much arse kissing/headuparse i can take. When i heard it on the Radio today at work i couldnt imagine people STILL sticking up for the man and seeing no wrong in him, and i come back to read people still not budging. Its unbelievable it really is. One good thing has come out of it though, at least Stearman will be a step closer to playing for the first team. Though Elliott is soon to be back

Keown was brought in on the promise of perhaps having a coaching role, so you would think suggestions and criticism would be fine, but obviously not, dreadful decision by Adams imo.

You never say anything good about any player over the age of 10 anyway on this forum and now you are backing micky getting rid of a 38year old??
Hullfox Posted 1 October 2004 Posted 1 October 2004 Theres only so much arse kissing/headuparse i can take. 23691 For someone who doesn't like head up arse, you seem to spend much of your time wearing Tommy Wright's sphincter as a necklace mate.
spirefox Posted 1 October 2004 Posted 1 October 2004 Whilst Keown was obviously right to diss MA's balls up at QPR ,Stirring up dissent in the dressing room cannot be allowed. One or the other had to go,Lose or Draw tommorrow MA and your gone I'm afraid.
Hoof Fox Posted 1 October 2004 Posted 1 October 2004 I think Micky has just signed his own death warrant, ill discipline on and off the pitch, poor performances, sacked our biggest signing of the summer after 3 months, the board must be nervous of what he is going to do next it all seems to have gone so Pete Tong. I honestly believe Micky has to go he cannot carry on from this, the players must be wondering what the hell is going on, last week he turned on Connolly, this week Keown has gone for daring to question him. There must be very little respect for him now. I really fear for us now we seem to be in turmoil, every time we turn the corner we seem to press the self destruct button. We said give it 10 games, but it is just getting worse, I have no faith whatsoever in Adams and after todays events I honestly believe there are better options out there. We cannot carry on like this it seems Adams is going to go out all guns blazing and you have to ask yourself is Micky Adams really worried about the interests of Leicester City Football Club or in his own words his he only interested in Micky Adams.
goodlongfox Posted 3 October 2004 Posted 3 October 2004 This is crap. My West Ham mates are crying with laughter.... They wanted Keown and now they're friggin likely to land him Mickey is turning into a Glenn Hoddle Can't handle his players anymore Same happened to Howey last season and was shown the door....and this season snap Keown This is poor, really poor Also, the poor lack of discipline on the pitch is worrying. I can't see a way back for Adams. The odds are against him. In fact if I was to check with the bookies now I am sure the odds would be in favour of him going before the end of the season or even Christmas! As I'm a forgiving bloke I will give him until end of this month, give him a few games with a FULL SQUAD, NO KEY INJURIES, NO SUSPENSIONS and if then there is still no improvement then the board will really have no choice...

SilverFox Posted 4 October 2004 Posted 4 October 2004 Adams has admitted on the radio to falling out with Keown...foolish pride always comes before a fall...hurry up and fall!
