ivarti Posted 19 January 2006 Posted 19 January 2006 FAO Leicester City Fans I am contacting you on behalf of the Football League as we are working with BBC Radio Five Live to help to organize a Championship forum. The forum will take place on Monday 30th January at Sheffield United’s Bramall Lane. The forum panel will consist of prominent Championship names such as Billy Davies (Preston North End), Phil Brown (Derby County) and Neil Warnock (Sheffield Wednesday) as well as other Football league representatives and guests. We are hoping to invite fans from the Championship clubs to submit questions to the panel members. Please see the attached information for further details of reserving tickets and contact details for the event. We have been promoting the event on behalf of BBC Radio Five Live and as yet have not had any response from Leicester City supporters, and obviously I am anxious that all clubs are represented. The deadline for tickets is approaching, and I would ideally like to have all final numbers in by Friday 20th January. If you think you may be interested in attending the Forum, and know others who may also like to attend, I would really appreciate it if you could pass on the attached information to any other interested parties. Please note that this is not an official document; it is for your information only and therefore should not be used to publicise the event. If you have any questions or require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me on the telephone number below. Many thanks Rachel Pearse Account Executive FWM PR 12th Floor Sunlight House Quay St Manchester M3 3JZ Tel: 0161 831 0415 ATTACHMENT FIVE LIVE’S COCA-COLA CHAMPIONSHIP FORUM The Coca-Cola Championship is flourishing – and is one of Europe’s major league competitions. ivarti Posted 19 January 2006 Author Posted 19 January 2006 This was ment for seriuos reasons, but if you cannot handle that then just drop it. And if you don't want postings in the forum and just a lot of rubbish, which most of the info in this site is, then it's ok by me. There are other message boards that takes things a bit more serious than Foxes Talk. It's a bit messy at times and most of the rumours and gossip on the site posted by "reliable sources" are mostly just fantasy, it never happens. I have posted this info on a couple of other message boards and the responce hasn't been that unfriendly. If you cannot find out who you should contact from the message, then go back and read again, it's there in front of you. The whole e-mail is from Rachel, but posted by me. This is my ever last posting to this message board. Goodbye !

This is my ever last posting to this message board. Goodbye ! I must apologise for the behaviour of some of the fans who responded to your post, given our current position we're all in a pretty bad mood and liable to lash out. That said, I can't help but feel you're being a little over sensitive. Stez's post seemed a genuine enquiry. TPH's post is his usual humour and, given the general feeling of loathing toward Neil Warnock in these parts, not entirely unexpected. It's really nothing to get so worked up about and I hope you are able to find it in yourself to revisit these forums to follow up on your post - we're a good bunch of people once you get to know us. BTW: I can't make it to the event myself but if you go can you do me a favour and have a chat with Neil Warnock, tell him that although we're glad he took the 4-2 defeat so well and praised our teams performance we still think he's a c**t. ktnxbye
Foxes_Trust Posted 19 January 2006 Posted 19 January 2006 This invite is for real - we received the same request from Rachel today. We are contacting our Yorkshire based members
theboywillmott Posted 19 January 2006 Posted 19 January 2006 It was the bit about Warnock being the Sheffield WEDNESDAY manager that made me suspicious!
