aussie-fox Posted 31 January 2006 Posted 31 January 2006 hi, in march i will be moving to Cosby to stay with family, could anyone let me know what the town is like, what there is to do there, any football teams, how far it is too the city, any pubs? anything i need to know anything so i know what the town is like, also is their any shops in the area for possible jobs etc? cheers

About 4/5 Pubs there, Post Office, Newsagents, Chip Shop and a couple of other small shops. Regular bus service to Leicester via Aylestone Road and the Walkers. Would say it's about 6 miles from the City centre. Not much work in the village, but easy access to the City. Quite a nice place, but not very lively

It's approx 7 miles from town I think. Hope it all goes well

They always bang on about a nice Chinese in a pub and an excellent Fish and Chip place. And it's not too far from Narborough station. I'd tell you more but I've only been there once for half a day.
