Lichfieldfox. Posted 6 February 2006 Posted 6 February 2006 I feel like an 8 year old not a 40 year old!! E-mailed Tim Davies (top bloke) this afternoon with my support for the boards decision (mentioned my choice of Allen or Newall) and got a rapid reply. Also asked for sponsorship for running the half marathon at Silverstone in aid of British Heart Foundation and am being sent 4 tickets for a Walkers Stadium Tour to auction/sell off. (email from the club under the general forum as someone running full marathon-mad or wot) Finally spoke to Birch on Heart 106 re Leicesters right midfield problem (why did they play a half fit Maybury out of position when could have played a fully fit Hammond or Hughes instead) And finally still over the moon we beat Wolves. Bring on Derby for a Valentines Day love in

Kingy Posted 7 February 2006 Posted 7 February 2006 I too e-mailed Mr Davies last week suggesting Newall or George Graham and got a rapid response also. Quality behaviour from the main man !
steve_wilson101 Posted 7 February 2006 Posted 7 February 2006 I too e-mailed Mr Davies last week suggesting Newall or George Graham and got a rapid response also. Quality behaviour from the main man ! I emailed him saying I desperately didn't Holloway as boss and that we should make signing a new manager an absolute priority, even above squad strengthening if there was only the budget for one or the other and also got a prompt reply basically saying not to believe everythign you see in the papers. Top man - I'm it would be easy for someone in his position to ignore emails from fans as I'm sure he gets shed loads of them and the fact he bothers to reply to them is very impressive.

Head Honcho Posted 7 February 2006 Posted 7 February 2006 I too e-mailed Mr Davies last week suggesting Newall or George Graham and got a rapid response also. Quality behaviour from the main man ! I emailed him a few times asking for CL's head and got several replies, but I think he was inundated with emails at one stage(mostly from foxestalk members methinks ) and resorted to standard letters for a while, but it's good to know he's back to answering them individually.
Head Honcho Posted 7 February 2006 Posted 7 February 2006 What email address did you use? [email protected] This is the one I always use
Katy Posted 7 February 2006 Posted 7 February 2006 I think someone should email Tim and ask him something else aside from Ian Holoway and see what answer you get. Sounds a bit of a copy and paste reply to me
Jon the Hat Posted 7 February 2006 Posted 7 February 2006 I think someone should email Tim and ask him something else aside from Ian Holoway and see what answer you get. Sounds a bit of a copy and paste reply to me If you were going to have a standard reply, you would probably get someone to write it properly though...
shen Posted 7 February 2006 Posted 7 February 2006 I agree, it's been a fab day! The weather's doing it for me After horrendous weather yesterday and ice-cold temperatures up here the last two weeks, we've finally had sunshine and up to 14 degrees celsius today!! Love it....Spring is on it's way
Katy Posted 7 February 2006 Posted 7 February 2006 If you were going to have a standard reply, you would probably get someone to write it properly though... Indeed! To be fair, I did get a detailed reply from TD when I wrote to complain about how the players and CL treated the fans at Hillsborough but I think that was before he was inundated with CL OUT and Holloway IN emails
