walsall fan Posted 13 February 2006 Posted 13 February 2006 Fryatt was a class striker for us and we are sorry to let him go but is he any good for you? He scored the winner against the dingles and this has made walsall fans happy. Is he quicker for you? Is he good enough for the premiership in your views? Good luck to the bloke.

He's been quality so far. Pretty quick, good touch and a decent hold up player. But most of all, what we have been lacking, a goal poacher. His goal against Wolves was just great to see. In the right place at the right time, which is what we have been lacking. Hopefully he'll carry on scoring (3 goals in 6 starts?) and keep us fom going down. Then we can make a go of the play-offs next season. I think he'll be a great servant to Leicester City for many years to come.

walsall fan Posted 14 February 2006 Author Posted 14 February 2006 hope he does keep you up, then you won't beat us next season! (if we stay up ) I found that with fryatt that he was a poacher. He is a good penalty taker. Have you seen his goal for walsall against huddersfield last season? quality!

Best thing Levein did for us
Ric Flair Posted 14 February 2006 Posted 14 February 2006 Fryatt is the business. Natural finisher and he's got himself a few goals that's eased the pressure on him. Takes whatever's thrown at him with a touch of finesse, but it's all about his deadly finishing. £350k!! you've been well and truelly had even with add on's.
securedfox Posted 14 February 2006 Posted 14 February 2006 Would'nt care if he did'nt contrbute anything other than goals. But the lad does, and i think if we are to get out of this league(promoted that is) then he is going to have a big say in this. Of course its not a one man game, but the end product is, scoring goals. He will do this for he's a great poacher. Just wish our defence would stop leaking goals at the other end
Thracian Posted 14 February 2006 Posted 14 February 2006 I don't think we'll besending him back any time soon

securedfox Posted 14 February 2006 Posted 14 February 2006 Rab Douglas is looking like the weak link in that defence at the moment. :wistle: Must agree with you at present, a goalie has got to instill confidence in the defence and does too much flapping for me. And look at his punching of the ball, last game for instance when Frutos scored. Good now and again, But not good enough for long enough. Time for Hendo to be given a run.
Birch'sLeftBoot Posted 14 February 2006 Posted 14 February 2006 Here here...pace, seems to be happy to be playing at the club, and (*crosses fingers*) seems to be settling in to quite the danger duo with Hume....let's hope!!!!
