Ric Flair Posted 19 October 2004 Posted 19 October 2004 That's more than I thought would be going to be honest!! I wonder how many of the season ticket holders will go, it would be interesting to see how many are giving tonight a miss. Was considering it myself, but can't miss an opportunity to give Bassett some stick.
Scow Posted 19 October 2004 Posted 19 October 2004 I thought it would be a bit more than that given it's the first game at home without Micky in charge, plus playing a top of the table side.....

I mean the horror show of Bassett and Wilko is enough to make a grown man cry and the noises being made from Tim Davies aren't exactly pleasing. If I didn't have a season ticket and considering the current state of the club and the crazy prices they charge for a match I think i'd rather stay at home and watch Ken Barlow's syrup.

Cobbo Posted 19 October 2004 Posted 19 October 2004 The prices are still ridiculous. £22 for an adult and £14 for kids! On a cold, wet Tuesday evening, we're playing crap in a crap division and the prices are still that high....
Anish Posted 19 October 2004 Posted 19 October 2004 I think 21,500 is a decent number considering the last few games. Scowy - this might be the first home game without Micky but it is a cold, wet Tuesday night - and I'm sure if we win today there will be a bigger crowd on Saturday. Plus the ticket prices are extortionate - I don't blame people who want to stay away.

People should stick with us through thick and thin unless they can't afford it or are at work. Saying it's cold and wet doesn't wash with me. If the fans can't be bothered to turn up and watch no wonder the players feel that putting in lacklustre performances is acceptable.

The fans are fed up with the abysmal performances on the otherhand we have fair weather supporters. Who's in the right and who's in the wrong? One thing for sure is that the players get paid to play football, it's their jobs to perform to the best of their ability. It's not our jobs to watch Leicester, we do it because we want to and because it's in our blood. We also pay to watch them, so you could argue we are in the right.

For a family of 4 (two adults, two kids) it would cost £72. Great way to attract people. And don't give the players the pathetic excuse of not many fans turning up so they're bound to play shite. What a load of bollocks. They should be proud to be Leicester players and play however many people are there. We pay them enough too... Don't accept the club exploiting you. People are voting with their feet and not turning up, the prices need to go down.
King Kyle lcfc Posted 19 October 2004 Posted 19 October 2004 I thought it wud be about 25,000 cuz they did a special promotion on £10 off additional match tickets for season ticket holders. I love night games bit more acceptable to be pissed up on a tues nite instead of a saturday afternoon. Ne ways i've gotta good feelin bout tonite cummon u blue boys.

Cat Burger Posted 19 October 2004 Posted 19 October 2004 I'm coming down for a change, ready for a decent performance
Ash Posted 19 October 2004 Posted 19 October 2004 Im suprised at that much really , being a wet, cold, windy Tuesday night it isnt bad
TrickyTrev Posted 19 October 2004 Posted 19 October 2004 Ticket prices are a joke as usual. <_< Aren't the foxes Trust doing a brilliant job.
Ash Posted 19 October 2004 Posted 19 October 2004 Aren't the foxes Trust doing a brilliant job. 27748[/snapback] As per usual
kirkup21 Posted 19 October 2004 Posted 19 October 2004 It's not the weather that puts me off its paying £22 to watch it. I'd rather spend that on an away game ticket and have a good day out.
Ash Posted 19 October 2004 Posted 19 October 2004 The prices are disgraceful , people wont pay it , and to be honest i dont blame them
gjp Posted 20 October 2004 Posted 20 October 2004 Stay in and see little britain or go out in the cold and watch basset and wilcos blue and white shite and have to pay through the nose even owning a video doesnt make it an easy choice.
Guest Daniel Posted 20 October 2004 Posted 20 October 2004 Go to Leicester, nothing comes before them.
