Yeah, that is in Maidstone.

Come back. Have a beer with me. :)

It's a shame it's not 1991/92 all over again and City made the short trip down there for a horrible cup game, opportunity for a massive piss up on tour with the boyz!

Best pub is the newly refurbished Rutland and Derby. Quality beers, and just like the Walkers will be soon, completely NON-SMOKING!!! Couldn't ask for more!!!!
As is the Highcross (except the ladies loos).

Loughborough for me, i've not really sampled Leicesters Nightlife.

Phantom, Amber Rooms, Sidewalk and Vice Versa usually my places.

I used to idle my evenings away in the Blacksmiths Arms, The Griffin, the Firkin and the Orange Tree. Dunno what Luff is like these days....not been out there for about 4 years.

And Echo's....what a dirty, dirty club.

Too right mate, my feet stuck to the floor!

Loughboroughs a top night out, mainly as all my mates are out, see familiar faces everywhere and places are closer together.

I had 4 pints last night and I'm on antibiotics. I seriously felt so pissed. Dunno if it was psychological...

Off to Bluewater today. Gonna buy myself a funky new hat and perhaps some new tweed. Ooooh yeah.

I do hear tell that Bluewater tweed is the new Burberry. :D Leather patches for your elbows Jim ?

Oh and I hope your antibiotics fix the problem, sorry to hear about that.

Luffbra is a shit night out! There's a reason all the students have an organised bus/coach most nights to Lestoh/Notnum.

Either way, 'stone is the place to be.

Aye, they were sh1t days indeed in Luffbra, but we were young and creatures of habit. Notnum? Like going to another country. Far too much effort.

Maidstone was obviously the other option, but since they closed the monorail, that one was a no-no as well. :(

Haha...

Twice the price, half the fun - Maidstone, you KNOW it makes sense! :P

Did get a nice tweed jacket actually mate, no leather patches at present although I might see what I can do. Also brought some nice brown Peter Werth shoes and a nice new leather jacket.

All in all, a good day's shopping.

On the anti-biotics front, they do seem to be working. I really do want a bottle of red though. It's become a sunday habit :S

Still - not long till my course is finished and I do feel better for it.
