Connolly!!! Posted 21 October 2004 Posted 21 October 2004 I finished with my girlfriend earlier this week and I'm really depressed and down at the minute and am looking for advice from anyone out there who can help. This was my first "proper" girlfriend and we were together for 6 months and were both in love, but it just wasn't working, or going anywhere, but that doesnt make me feel any better. Any comments ( Serious or not) are welcome
Guest Posted 21 October 2004 Posted 21 October 2004 I know it's hard now, but things get better with time, honest! At least now you can go out and enjoy yourself with your mates, guilt-free!!

There has to be a reason for that, so how about discussing it. I have no sympathy for you.

Buzzell Posted 21 October 2004 Posted 21 October 2004 You will more likely get back with her. I was going out with this girl for 2 years and we broke up. She was my only love and we was truly in love. I hated the feeling of her leaving me even when I was on the pull with the lads! We decided to see each other and we all of a suddern went back out.

My advice to u connelly would be to go out and check the million billion girls out there!! The Male virtue is to 'spread the love'!! I think Singledom is the way forwards anyway

He was the one who finished it yet he's coming on thinking he's depressed about it? If it was the other way round i could understand but it isnt. It was his choice.

I know my first relationship, i broke up with my ex after 5 and a half months but i still felt depressed. It was because i didnt have someone to pick up the fone to or someone to hug u know what i mean. the lads got feelings just like u and me and everyone else so i can understand how he feels.

Hullfox Posted 21 October 2004 Posted 21 October 2004 Few people stay with their first love but they always remember them fondly. Time to move on mate. If I hadn't been dumped by my first love I'd have never met Mrs Hullfox and I wouldn't swap her for the world. Don't listen to Petrescu as ever he's wrong.
Guest Daniel Posted 21 October 2004 Posted 21 October 2004 Lifes a bitch then you marry one. Dont matter about love and all that soppy shit, if you fot a woman whos prepared to do her jobs (cooking, washing etc) and a decent right hand, theres no need for it.
