Bert Posted 8 March 2006 Posted 8 March 2006 i got tickets for the bath v tigers match , had to buy in the bath section as tigers were sold out This wouldn't be acceptable in Football now would it?
Sparky Posted 8 March 2006 Posted 8 March 2006 This wouldn't be acceptable in Football now would it? no it wouldnt , happens every week with the rugby
Bert Posted 8 March 2006 Posted 8 March 2006 no it wouldnt , happens every week with the rugby Still that's all part of rugby. I think part of the atmosphere is made by segregation at football matches.
Knighton Matt Posted 8 March 2006 Posted 8 March 2006 i got tickets for the bath v tigers match , had to buy in the bath section as tigers were sold out Me too mate! I'm going with a few mates from down that way so shouldn't get lynched by an angry mob if Tigers win.
Snik-Snok Posted 8 March 2006 Posted 8 March 2006 What you all doing going to watch the rugby. You should be going to Norwich that day!
davieG Posted 8 March 2006 Posted 8 March 2006 Still that's all part of rugby. I think part of the atmosphere is made by segregation at football matches. Disagree, although I understand the reasons for the segregation, the result of a minority high-jacking the game, but some of the best games atmosphere wise was before segregation reared it's ugly head - standing in the East Stand packed to the rafters, 35K in the ground, a heaving mass of Leicester / Liverpool or Man U or Rangers (yes just a friendly ) with banter, piss-taking and singing going on by both sets of fans all mixed in together, no animosity takes some beating I can tell you.
