Migraine was mentioned a couple of times on here in the past.

I have just come across some useful info which I wanted to share with anyone who is unlucky enough to suffer from it.

TRIGGER FACTORS FOR MIGRAINE

Tracing your trigger factors (which you may want to avoid):

Dietary Factors

• Aged Cheeses

• Alcoholic Beverages (OH DEAR!)

• Beans

• Caffeine (excess, withdrawal)

• Chianti Wine

• Chocolate !!! :(

• Citrus Fruits Beans

• Dried Smoked Fish

• Fatty Foods

• Food Additives

• Foods containing Tyramine

• Nuts

• Onions

• Pickled Herring

• Sour Cream

• Yogurt

• Yeast Extracts

• Nitrites (eg. in hot dogs, luncheon meats e.g. ham, salami)

• Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) (esp. Chinese/oriental takeways)

• Aspartame Artificial Sweetener eg. NutraSweet (AVOID FOR MANY REASONS)

Environmental Factors

• Air Pollution

• Bright Light

• Cigarette Smoke

• Complex Visual Patterns

• Flickering Light Sources

Thanks for that info Cisono, its generally dairy products and that bloody Poison perfume that kick mine off although ive not had one for a while touch wood.

Already knew the things I have put in bold effected me....Used to effect me. I THINK I have grown out of them.
