Thracian Posted 6 April 2006 Posted 6 April 2006 With so much good that could have been done instead I doubt there could be a more disgusting thought ... According to an American economist it has now cost an estimated $2 triillion - yes trillion - to fight the War in Iraq. How many cataracts could that have removed and how much pain and suffering could have been relieved instead by our allegedly Christian Prime Minister and his friend. Smugly, George Bush thinks the War has only cost $500 billion.

While all our public services suffer, the UK still sees fit on spending money on war. I would like our leader to say,...'first we will sort our back yard out then we will think about any others'
Scarby Posted 6 April 2006 Posted 6 April 2006 we can say this about everything! we cant do anything about it, and on the other point of view how much pain and suffering have we relieved the Iraqs from.

I would like our leader to say,...'first we will sort our back yard out then we will think about any others' Absolutly, especially since this is supposed to be war on terror and we have more terror links here, than are or ever were, in Iraq.
Lemon Harpic Posted 6 April 2006 Posted 6 April 2006 we cant do anything about it, and on the other point of view how much pain and suffering have we relieved the Iraqs from. Pain and suffering? None whatsoever. Don't you watch the news? There is more pain and suffering in Iraq now than there ever was under Saddam. And that's saying something. Now, how much oil have we relieved the Iraqis from...?

The Government blames the population on shortfalls in pensions etc, but then spends a fortune fighting a war we didn't need to get involved in.

Now, how much oil have we relieved the Iraqis from...? dont be so naive, im sure believe everything the media tells you. oil has nothing to do with this topic and if your telling me we havent started and helped the iraqis build new lives for themselves then you are mistaken, maybe you should take a trip out there yourself.
Guest Posted 7 April 2006 Posted 7 April 2006 So why is the country almost in a state of civil war? Don't tell me, liberal minded hacks, making it up?
