Luke_Leicester_Lad Posted 21 May 2006 Posted 21 May 2006 Ronaldinho, is he really that good? From what i seen of him against arsenal in the cup final he did'nt play very well. But he has scored some brilliant goals in his career, are there any that stand out for you?
Luke_Leicester_Lad Posted 21 May 2006 Author Posted 21 May 2006 Who is he? am I not old enough to know him?
Cobbo Posted 21 May 2006 Posted 21 May 2006 Closest thing to Ronaldinho to ever come out of Leicester, was a magician for us in the early 90's.
Cobbo Posted 21 May 2006 Posted 21 May 2006 The song 'Nothing Compares to You' was actually composed in dedication to Phillip.
Nationwider Posted 21 May 2006 Posted 21 May 2006 The song 'Nothing Compares to You' was actually composed in dedication to Phillip. The tears shed in the video were genuine. It's not hard to understand why either.

Frenzied Posted 21 May 2006 Posted 21 May 2006 Ronaldino has the potential to be the greatest player of all time. The things he can do with a football are utterly mind blowing. This World Cup could be the time he puts his name up with the greats, such as Pele, Maradona, Platini etc.
Guest Posted 22 May 2006 Posted 22 May 2006 The tears shed in the video were genuine. It's not hard to understand why either. Ian Ormondroyd was originally lined up to sing it, but he was too overcome with emotion each time they tried to record it.
Cobbo Posted 23 May 2006 Posted 23 May 2006 I was thinking more along the lines of Jamie Lawrence! Scoring against Scarborough is one thing, scoring against Villa when Little had just taken over with an amazing lob is something just out of this world

I remember on the way home from a party a few months back trying to recreate that bit of skill in the road with a tennis ball in Leamington in the early hours of the morning. It ended in tears.
