KENNYLUNTANOWL4EVA Posted 31 May 2006 Share Posted 31 May 2006 Who said that? The Daily Star? Our manager never said anything..... Foxes in midfielder race Tue, May 30 2006 13:11 Leicester have made an formal approach for Crewe's Kenny Lunt although they face a battle with Wolves and Leeds for his signature. Lunt is out of contract at Crewe so will therefore be on a free if he moves on although he has been offered a new deal by Crewe manager Dario Gradi the chance of getting into a possible promotion race in the Championship could be enough to see him move. Although Leeds and Wolves would both probably be able to offer that as well, Leicester are the first to make an official offer for the 26 year old midfielder, according to Crewe's official website. You made an official offer according to crewe.
fox123 Posted 31 May 2006 Share Posted 31 May 2006 At the end of the day the only probable reason that he would have signed for you rather than us was he would have been guaranteed first team football, Dario Grady urged him to sign for a team that would have given him that and for that reason he decided to join you! Good luck to the lad
Dr The Singh Posted 31 May 2006 Share Posted 31 May 2006 Oh ffs! Not in size of transfer, but the FACT is we beat off numerous clubs for the signature of Madjid Bougherra, including Leeds.... And numerous clubsin chasing Lunt, ok, you swear you weren't interested and the clubs included Palace, Stoke and Wolves. The management team at Hillsborough are doing a terrific job in selling the club to the players we want. You must be very pleased then!!!

Good luck to the lad HOw arrogant is that!! Or MAYBE it was the fact that we offered more money? We appealed to Lunt more (i.e bigger stadium, fanbase)? We are more ambitios than you? You finished only 3 points (or something like that ) above us last seaosn, yet you talk about us as if we're totally inferior to you in EVERY department! You must be very pleased then!!! Yes. Yes i am.
