dandannieldanok Posted 9 June 2006 Posted 9 June 2006 Man United have had a £10mil bid rejected by Spurs. I would have say that is a fair price as he is not yet a great holding player but he has bags of potential.
Nationwider Posted 9 June 2006 Posted 9 June 2006 I think Spurs would be mental, nay bonkers, to let him go.
dandannieldanok Posted 9 June 2006 Author Posted 9 June 2006 Never worth 10m, Spurs have made a silly descision. I think you're being harsh there but i can understand your view. He has good passing but a doubt his tackling is as good as makelele for example so maybe he isn't worth 10 mil.
Daggers Posted 9 June 2006 Posted 9 June 2006 5 gets you ten that Ferguson did it as a shot across the bows to Eriksson. "Piss about with my boy and I'll disrupt your squad" is the subtext of this offer ... why else would it have been made tonight? Why else would it have been for an amount that they would obviously reject? Why else would they have released this to the media? Hmm...

Clearly a Fergie wind-up, as we all know he only signs sh1te like Klebersen and Djemba-Djemba in midfield these days.

Finnegan Posted 10 June 2006 Posted 10 June 2006 Discomb knows where it's at, surprised no-one picked this up earlier. Me and my mate Gav have just been having the same conversation - what a strange time to make a bid.

When you remember the quotes that Carrick is "way down Fergies list of priorities" it makes you wonder, doesn't it? Yesterday I thought Fergie was a ****. Today I know he is.
Ajax Treesdown Posted 11 June 2006 Posted 11 June 2006 Carrick is worth about 5 million TBH. Rumours of a 20 million offer from Man Utd have to be false, or they need there heads testing!
