How will you dealing with work/world cup games?

I need to ask my boss if I can take a TV into work, thing is it either means playing for a TV licence or risking not having one, so he'll probably say no

If thats the case i'll be listening on the radio.

On the England game even though I finish at 4.30pm, I think i'll start work at 7am and finish at 4pm, so I definelty don't miss the start of the match.

When I'm at work, I'll be breaking company rules by having my cell phone handy to check score updates online. I've also got my brother and a few friends to text me updates.

I've also had my usual workload reduced for the next few weeks and I'm not complaining about making less money because the World Cup is far more important. I'm very much looking forward to sitting around home or getting drunk at a bar watching soccer all day on my days off.

I've got off on the 12th and the 22nd for USA first-round games against the Czechs and Ghana... on the 17th, I start work within five minutes of the US-Italy final whistle--I might have to show up to work drunk for the first time since Sheffield United-Leicester City last August.
