They dominated a world class side like Argentina and didnt get anything from a game that people would have not complained if they won. Personally wouldnt like England to have to play them. Who has impressed you the most so far?

City_4_Life Posted 16 June 2006 Posted 16 June 2006 Spain impressed me with there win, i know Ukraine and the best of sides, but it was just the manner in which they did it. They kept possesion of the ball well and the build up play was excellent at times.

Guest Gist Posted 16 June 2006 Posted 16 June 2006 I think out the favourites Argentina because like you say they beat a team that looked very strong, but for outsiders it has to be Spain, Ukraine are a decent side and to beat them 4-0 is very convincing. Although the C. Republic are looking solid.

dandannieldanok Posted 16 June 2006 Posted 16 June 2006 Argentina have been the best side unfirtunately but Spain are also looking good. Ecuador also with their solid defence and quick counter attack have looked promising.
MC Prussian Posted 16 June 2006 Posted 16 June 2006 Hard to tell, because I'd have to see each team after two complete rounds. Argentina pobably, very compact and a lot of depth in the roster. Ecuador as well. Very robust, solid in defense, thoughtful and very effective.
