discojoe Posted 22 July 2004 Posted 22 July 2004 i think we r abit harsh wen it comes to benji he scored some good goals in div 1 and some important ones , he saved us from a big embarrasment against rotherham! he isnt that bad he isnt the worst player we have got.

Hes not the worst but he's still bloody awful, i really dont how he scored so many goals the last time we were in the first div, bit of corkys magic i suspect.

Anyone remember the one against pompey. Yeah, that was a quality finish to be fair - He actually used his strength to good effect then. He will be a good squad player next season, but I would prefer Scowcroft and Wright ahead of him.

Theres no doubting Wright is a far better player than Benjiman but knowing Micky as we do I think Benji will be ahead of Wright in the pecking order

Guest Guest Posted 22 July 2004 Posted 22 July 2004 Benji is a fine squad player for division 1. He can play on the left, right and up front, I'm sure he'll play a small role obviously but I bet he gets 5 or 6 goals.
