I know this won't make all of you jealous as I'm not the only one who lives a charmed life abroad or is travelling about at the moment. But for all you Ozzie foxiles out there, if you are from anywhere from Perth up to Exmouth on the West Coast and between Melbourne and Cairns on the East then if you see a chap in a Leicester shirt with England flags all over a hired car, then it's probably me! Have a good summer anyway and COME ON ENGLAND!

The East coast would take 5 weeks plus in itself. Hope the travelling doesn't get too much and you enjoy the place. Drink Vic Bitter its the best.

lookwhaticando Posted 23 June 2006 Posted 23 June 2006 I had five weeks there in July/August 2000 - did most of the big cities on the mainland. Spent just over 3 weeks in the car from Cairnes thru Brisbane down to Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and then around the Southern/Central coast to Adelaide. Didn't have a whole lot of time in each city, but certainly enough to take in at least some of the sights Lots of driving, quite a lot of flying, a hell of a lot of walking (around Sydney and Melbourne mostly) but it was all worth it.
