dandannieldanok Posted 23 June 2006 Posted 23 June 2006 This could be an exicting night as France need to pick up their game and get scoring. Unfortunately they face a pretty average Togo side that should not cause them any probs. Predictions: Togo 0-3 France South Korea 1-1 Switzerland
Guest Gist Posted 23 June 2006 Posted 23 June 2006 I think South Korea will beat Switzerland 2-1 and France will beat Togo 2-0 which will mean South Korea and France to qualify I predict but I'd like to see Switzerland go through instead of France.

MC Prussian Posted 23 June 2006 Posted 23 June 2006 Hmmm... Interesting. The English still don't know how good we Swiss really are. Instead, they believe that a French squad - aka "Zidane & Henry trying to play football together with some other French people" - with an average age of over 30 can pull off a miracle against Togo... Hear, hear. In any case, I'd fancy two great games tonight to end the group phase. Of course, I'd love to see my country and South Korea advance, who needs frog eaters that are well past their expiry date?

I rate the Swiss very highly, look at my signature, I'd much rather have Magnin than A cole!

Head Honcho Posted 23 June 2006 Posted 23 June 2006 Great quote from the commentator on bbc "it's a shame we haven't seen the real Togo side in this world cup" Which Togo is that then?
dandannieldanok Posted 23 June 2006 Author Posted 23 June 2006 Great quote from the commentator on bbc "it's a shame we haven't seen the real Togo side in this world cup" Which Togo is that then? I wondered that! I can't see what they were thinking, its not as if Jonathan Pearce and Mark bright have ever seen Togo before the world cup so why would they say it. Perhaps this was the best Togo have ever produced?
