Teeno Posted 23 November 2004 Posted 23 November 2004 We need to take action, please please as many anti groundsharing banners as possible please!!!!
Wilson Posted 23 November 2004 Posted 23 November 2004 I've signed it, we should sort something out like a protest or something along them lines.
Nathan_Ellington_WAFC Posted 23 November 2004 Posted 23 November 2004 to be honest there's not much really that you can do.
Guest Daniel Posted 23 November 2004 Posted 23 November 2004 Ill bring about 100 banners with me for some people in L1. Every little helps. What should it say? '#### OFF EGG CHASERS' or 'WE HATE PEANUT HUGGERS'
Ash Posted 23 November 2004 Posted 23 November 2004 Ive signed the petition ! But we need to do more on Saturday !
BartonFox Posted 23 November 2004 Posted 23 November 2004 SACK THE BOARD MACE OUT DAVIES OUT Don't put swear words on it that'll give the stewards an excuse to lift you.

'#### OFF EGG CHASERS' or 'WE HATE PEANUT HUGGERS' 39121 Tigers fans don't want it either.... So make them less offensive to rugby and make it something like '2 teams, 2 grounds' but better
Ash Posted 23 November 2004 Posted 23 November 2004 Just plain and simple BM "Its Our Ground , LCFC !! "
King Kyle lcfc Posted 23 November 2004 Posted 23 November 2004 Foxes trust do your job your meant to be here for the fans and its obvious the fans dont want a ground share so tell the club to re consider
davieG Posted 23 November 2004 Posted 23 November 2004 Re the Foxes Trust Why are people having.f a go at the FT this not their idea, they only found out when we did. All those of you having a go at the FT I hope you are members if not join up before you criticise. If you are a member, you should realise that partly due to their limited representation there is only so much they can do. Even unionised workers at factories can't stop them closing down, they have very, very little to bargain with. I can also guarantee that when the results of the fan's questionnaire is released there will be a minority of people who said they were definitly against this idea in answer to the ground sharing question. As for me I'm against the idea, but then I'm against the music they play, I'm against the way the bloke announces the team. They know most people are against these things yet they continue to do them. They always have done and they always will. They got their fingers burnt with the Fosse consultation so they wern't about to be caught again.
Foxes_Trust Posted 23 November 2004 Posted 23 November 2004 Foxes trust do your job your meant to be here for the fans and its obvious the fans dont want a ground share so tell the club to re consider 39130 With say 22,000 City Fans & 16,000 Tigers, so far 298 have signed the petition. It is too early to declare that 'all fans' oppose it. The Trust will not come out with a knee jerk reaction We will continue to gather opinion over the next few days & will also be asking the club some searching questions on the benefits to LCFC prior to making any public stance
HarisFox Posted 23 November 2004 Posted 23 November 2004 That sounds very reasonable but how much can the FT really do about this? How much influence do you hold?
Benji Posted 23 November 2004 Posted 23 November 2004 Foxes trust do your job your meant to be here for the fans and its obvious the fans dont want a ground share so tell the club to re consider 39130 With say 22,000 City Fans & 16,000 Tigers, so far 298 have signed the petition. 39146 let's be fair though, 75% will not use/have access to internet what i fear is how with the leicester fosse one person says its good and so the campaign for change uses that one person to represent a huge amount but yet when we did the vote for city or fosse the result was overwhelming, why not do the same for this?

Money over fans, always
dan_84 Posted 23 November 2004 Posted 23 November 2004 i cant believe tigers want to play at the walkers. went down and watched the tigers a couple of weeks back and the atmosphere with a sell out crowd at welford road was awesome and so much better than what it tends to be at the walkers with 20000 or so. its because of that atmosphere teams hate playing at welford road, its record speaks for itself. so my point is why would tigers want to play in a half full ground everyweek where surely the atmosphere wont be as good
Mad Jacks Eyes Posted 23 November 2004 Posted 23 November 2004 Are there gonna be people outside with petitions to sign on Saturday??....Foxes Trust, you going to suggest this???????....Then you would get an idea of just how much anger there really is....and believe me there is a lot from both City fans and the Tigers lot.
Ric Flair Posted 24 November 2004 Posted 24 November 2004 Tigers will be more disgusted with this move than we are, as we effectively aren't moving anywhere we are just having some lodgers in. Once they get here and realise how shocking the atmosphere is in this shit hole of a stadium they will be seething. I'd be more upset if we were still at Filbert Street and they came there or we both built a ground together, because Filbert Street might of been a crap stadium but it made us fans feel more part of a club there. Our new stadium is fake in my opinion, still don't like it much. So i'm not that arsed anymore if Tigers come, they'll be the ones moaning once they realise how stupid they've been to come to The Walkers.

After all, we'll have had the WS for 3 years by the time they move in, and even if we don't like it as much as Filbo, we still have a feeling of ownership over it, with the Tigers being gatecrashers. Instead of the WS, we could have had a state of the art leisure facility, incorporating the stadium, we'd have had help from the council, and it wouldn't feel like we're being bulldozered into something neither set fo fans wants.
City Fan Posted 24 November 2004 Posted 24 November 2004 This is being blown well out of proportion. The Walkers Stadium doesn't even belong to City.....

The Walkers Stadium doesn't even belong to City..... 39500 Most of my house technically belongs to the building society, and I'd be bloody narked if they wanted me to share it with someone else.
