Daggers Posted 1 August 2006 Posted 1 August 2006 Why do my batteries only last for about 10 minutes in my digital camera. Batteries build up a false memory and their capacity diminishes with age. If a total discharge/recharge cycle doesn't give a decent improvement then it may well be time to go shopping. My Archos AV120 used to have a play time knocking around 20 minutes when new! This went down to around 1.5 minutes... The new battery holds my attention for a couple of hours now. It's rubbish for MP3's but handy as a portable storage device. I found my battery supplier online [sorry I lost the address] and it was amazingly cheaper than traditional suppliers. Hope that helps.

Helps that I have two rechargable batteries for my digital camera too.
Cobbo Posted 1 August 2006 Posted 1 August 2006 It's because they're bitter and twisted and are sad because their distant relatives are the cameras that take films and that. Poor sods, must be killing them being inside their arch enemies.

If your digital camera takes 2 AA's, I bought a LI-ON CRV3 battery and it lasts probably 10 times longer than normal Alkaline, and you can recharge it **Note - make sure your camera is on the compatibility list at the bottom.**
