Master Fox Posted 2 August 2006 Posted 2 August 2006 They have added some excellent players to their squad that is already very impressive. I think Cardiff and Southampton will be the top two come the end of season.
Stevosevic Posted 2 August 2006 Posted 2 August 2006 no, not top 2, top 6 for sure. i agree with southampton though.

NO CHANCE.. total wanq, cant look further than Brum, Wolves, Phallas, Leeds, Southampton, West Brom and many others ahead of Cardiff....including US!! I reckon 12th at best!

I reckon 12th at best! America is playing in the Championship this year - When the hell did that happen????
Tommeh Posted 2 August 2006 Posted 2 August 2006 Soton and Brum will be top 2 loooking at squads at the mo. Cardiff relyed on Koumas, Jerome and purse too much last season. Now two of those have left i think they'll do well to get top half

Now two of those have left i think they'll do well to get top half They are trying to push a deal through for him 2mil 500,000 up front, I think he will probabaley be a Cardiff player come the second game of the season. Still dont see them doing anything though.
Ultra Posted 2 August 2006 Posted 2 August 2006 No, they fell away badly towards the end of last season. Midtable for them this time around..
potter3 Posted 2 August 2006 Posted 2 August 2006 Southampton and one of West Brom/Birmingham will go up atomatically I think
dandannieldanok Posted 2 August 2006 Posted 2 August 2006 Cardiff are one of many aspiring teams looking for play-offs this season, the problem is they will be outnumbered and shoved down to mid table.

Knighton Matt Posted 2 August 2006 Posted 2 August 2006 Can't see them being anywhere near to be honest...
Head Honcho Posted 2 August 2006 Posted 2 August 2006 Earlier today they added Kevin Campbell to their squad.
Molson Canadian Posted 2 August 2006 Posted 2 August 2006 they looked like crap i watched them play here in vancouver on there north american tour the only good player that stood out to me was chopra. They lost to the vancouver whitecaps in the confederations cup final here. and the whitecaps are are not that strong compared to english teams, besides the fact they beat sunderland in a friendly last year. They are the equivalent to a english 2nd division team i would think. The goalie is tony caig formerly of newcastle he stopped a few shots in the shoot out. The defence for cardiff does not look that strong to me
Maybes Posted 2 August 2006 Posted 2 August 2006 Cardiff top 2 pffffffft dont make me laugh top 8 at best. I think they will finish around 10-13th
