Maybes Posted 3 August 2006 Posted 3 August 2006 Arsenal are reportedly tracking william gallas. It wouldnt surprise me if he was involved in a swap deal with ashley cole. You heard it here first http://home.skysports.com/list.asp?hlid=40...+monitor+Gallas
SydneyFC Posted 3 August 2006 Posted 3 August 2006 Would be good for them to swap. Arsene loves his frenchies.
Tommeh Posted 3 August 2006 Posted 3 August 2006 Cole may be the better Lb, but i'd rather have Gallas due to his versatility across the back line. Would be a great deal for Arsenal as they are resigned to losing Cole and desperately need a Cb, THEY DON'T COME MUCH BETTER THAN GALLAS
dandannieldanok Posted 3 August 2006 Posted 3 August 2006 Arsenal wouldn't do a swap for Cole as they would have no left-back. Before anyone suggests that Gallas would fill Cole's role can think again because not playing him at centre-half is what has caused the rift between Gallas and the Chelsea.
Cat Burger Posted 3 August 2006 Posted 3 August 2006 My mate old man jenks is a Chelsea fan, it's common knowledge to them lot that Gallas doesn't want to continue playing in England. He wants to move to Spain.
Cobbo Posted 3 August 2006 Posted 3 August 2006 Still, would be exactly what Arsenal need after losing Campbell and Cole.
Daggers Posted 3 August 2006 Posted 3 August 2006 My mate old man jenks is a Chelsea fan, it's common knowledge to them lot that Gallas doesn't want to continue playing in England. He wants to move to Spain. I remember after the last WC that all the French residing in the UK suddenly wanted to capitalise on their perceived new worth. I thought Gallas was pretty average (like Cole) in most games and can't see who would be busting his door down. It has to be an agent-driven thing.
Maybes Posted 2 September 2006 Author Posted 2 September 2006  Haha great find disco bob. I had forgot about this thread.

I don't think I got my prediction right :pinch:
