Yet you pick possibly the weakest link in Man United's first team John O'Shea.

Jonesy_rules Posted 26 November 2004 Posted 26 November 2004 i've heard of them, i just think they are all to over-rated, imo! horse face has played shite!, Scouser has played shite, smith is on the bench half the time, giggs is aswell, actually the list is endless! And how can people pick Butt for Newcastle? There are a good few players over him, e.g Jenas, Carr, Bellamy, but that all my opinion

He's been pretty average since his switch hasn't he? According to reports here, he hasn't impressed yet..

I've heard Jesper isn't playing overly brilliant, but neither are any Brum players really. At the end of the day, him and Melchiot are Brum's best players.
Shum Posted 26 November 2004 Posted 26 November 2004 Can't beleive people are having a go at people for their choices! Everyone was asked their opinion and they gave it and then they are getting slated for it. What the #### is all that about?

What the #### is all that about? 40251 Well thats the point of the thread isnt it? We want to discuss our choices. I find it interesting to hear why e.g. Hoof picked Grønkjær, as it isn't an obvious choice. I'm not slating him though...

The WBA fans dont even like him and he dont get in the starting line up. Ash Posted 26 November 2004 Author Posted 26 November 2004 Why have people chose Garcia , Over Gerrard ?
Cobbo Posted 26 November 2004 Posted 26 November 2004 Alonso is alot better than both. 40349 No chance is he a lot better than Gerrard. A fully fit Gerrard is the most influential player in the Premiership. Alex Ferguson said that
Guest Daniel Posted 26 November 2004 Posted 26 November 2004 Thats your opinion. Over-rated i feel. He is good but not the best in the Premiership. Benitez said Alonso is the best midfielder in the country, doesnt mean its true.

shen Posted 26 November 2004 Posted 26 November 2004 and the same Ferguson who paid almost £30million for Juan Veron to be fair to Fergie, Veron was sublime in Italy at the time he bought him. So much so that he was my favourite player at the time just a shame that his stay at Man U didn't work out. Would've loved to see more of his fantastic one touch passing and through balls
