He has completely ruined football, thinking he can buy the trophies !! Rumours are abound that if Chelski fail to win the Champions League this year, then Mourinho will be sacked !! What a tw*t that Abramovich is?? Please does anybody have any links with regards to Abramovich being in the sh*t for financial irregularities or potential problems for Chelski in the long term??? This guy has ruined football lets face it!!

Where were these kids wearing their Chelsea shirts a few years ago when they were just an average team? I hope they don't win the league this season - just to show Abramovich that money doesn't guarantee success. And I actually think their squad is weaker this season than the previous two, despite most pundits expecting them to walk the title again.

Mort Posted 29 August 2006 Posted 29 August 2006 I don’t hate Chelsea as a club, don’t dislike their players (Terry, Lampard and Ballack are some the best around IMHO) and I rate Jose very highly as a manager (even though loads of folks seem to hate him)… I’m not too fond of the way that Abramovich seems want to just buy success at all levels and see’s anything less as a failure. I’m not against big investors like Lerner or Abramovich providing football clubs with huge resources… that’s just the power of capital, I just think there’s a big difference between providing recourse to a club (like Lerner seems to be doing) and trying to buy success with ridicules amounts of money (as seems to be the case with Abramovich). …then again I live in a house with two Chelsea fans, so I’ve got a vested interest here Meanwhile i can concentrate on my weird dislike of Fulham, Charlton and Spurs
