dandannieldanok Posted 30 August 2006 Posted 30 August 2006 Like Coventry a week or so ago, Watford have been linked with a £1milliion move for Ade. Everybody says Aidy Boothroyd is a fantastic manager but if this goes through then he will be a laughing stock in my eyes.

Akinbiyi has prooved his self since hes left us,scored goals on a regualr basis in our league. Wouldnt be such a bad moove.

I suppose not but he is just not good enough for the premiership or else he would be in Sheffied United starting 11.
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 August 2006 Posted 30 August 2006 Waste of money on a 31 year old striker he was once statstically the worst striker in the premier league. He's shown before, when he was in his prime he wasn't cut out for the prem. He's definatley not as good as Marlon King of Damien Francis so why do it?

Watford are not in our league. Apparently Akinbadbuy missed a sitter against spurs. He is not good enough for the premiership and i dont see Boothroyd being stupid enough to purchase him.
Dr The Singh Posted 30 August 2006 Posted 30 August 2006 I suppose not but he is just not good enough for the premiership or else he would be in Sheffied United starting 11. With Marlon King failing to live upto prem standards and the likelyhood of Watford getting relegated, Akinbiyi could be useful addition for next season if not this season!!!
oundlefox Posted 30 August 2006 Posted 30 August 2006 I thought Watford has aspirations of staying up!!!! Still shudder to think we blew £5m on Ade to be the laughing stock of the Prem. The Wolves board are probably still dining out on that one. More clubs than Tiger Woods that lad.
