i've no idea what they are, they're not crab apples though. they are a bit sour so i'm guessing they're cookers.

Very spooky - the missus, kids and I have just got back from collecting blackberries to go with the apples we collected from our trees this morning. We're making a crumble too!!

Lashings of cream and/or custard. Not made our minds up yet...

Awaiting online pudding updates, Stez and Suffolk_fox....

Is it ready yet?

my was ready in double quick time (as the large pyrex has 'disappeared' <_< ) and it was most enjoyable, but could've done with more fruit so it was inbetween worse than gordon ramsey's and better than gary rhodes.

Me and my family did that last week, i swear though every blackberry had a caterpillow in it, we ended up throwing them.

I wondered where caterpillars slept, it's so sweet that they have caterbeds. I'd love to find out what they get up to in there but I don't think they indulge in caterpillow-talk. :P

Oh, that was sooo yummy. We sent one round to our neigbours too (their kid came picking with us, it was only right we should send them some crumble. Hope they liked it!!)

We also picked some elderberries and made some jam. Well the wife did anyway. Proper little Felicity Kendall she is too (oh yus!!)
