The People's Hero Posted 4 September 2006 Posted 4 September 2006 Whereabouts? I lived on Kimberley Road (if that's your girlfriend's name then it's a ridiculous coincidence..) Good holiday mate? She lived on Stoughton Drive North in a student house which was actually ridiculously good for a student house. Nice, big garden (with hunky gardener she assures me), a dishwasher, a jacuzzi thing (seriously) and best of all, some of those bells in each room to call the servants (but no servants unfortunately).

We had the smallest living room ever in the second year and the biggest in the third year. Third year we had three TVs, one for TV, one for Xbox and one for PS2. Living the dream! I miss it so much.
The People's Hero Posted 4 September 2006 Posted 4 September 2006 Good holiday mate? Relaxing. Have some good stories too like when I was hypnotised (but I wasn't) and about my girlfriend (or wife as the hotelier kept trying to assure me) fainted. Oh and the only time I've ever been begged to DO karaoke rather than to stop. I won't tell them though as I really actually do have to go do some work. Also, I want to stir up a frenzy in order that the actual stories are a massive anti-climax. OLE!
The People's Hero Posted 4 September 2006 Posted 4 September 2006 I lived on Mere Road in what used to be a pub and still had the sign and everything!

Knighton Matt Posted 4 September 2006 Posted 4 September 2006 I've just taken some cod liver oil and did a really fishy burp. It was so disgusting I nearly vommed.
john_lcfc Posted 4 September 2006 Posted 4 September 2006 Me and the Missus last week from Wigston Chippy: 2 fish (probably cod), 1 large chips, 1 portion of Mushy Peas, 2 buttered cobs. Came to £8.70... is this good or bad!! (the price not the diet!!! ) id say thats very good value.
Knighton Matt Posted 4 September 2006 Posted 4 September 2006 COD LIVER OIL?? Yeah they're my Dad's. What can I say I went a bit mental, saw them on the worktop and popped a pill

Knighton Matt Posted 4 September 2006 Posted 4 September 2006 I've got fish tonight for dinner. Rubbish. "I'm sweating like a blind lesbian in a fishmongers." By the time I'm back I'm expecting the above statement to have been removed.

The People's Hero Posted 3 December 2006 Posted 3 December 2006 I'm having fish n chips today instead of the usual Sunday Lunch. It's not cheap but boy is it good. Plenty of salt n vinegar. Who's with me?
lcfc_jme Posted 3 December 2006 Posted 3 December 2006 I like fish. Fishy Fingers or a juicy Fish Cake?
The People's Hero Posted 3 December 2006 Posted 3 December 2006 Sea Bass, sea bream and trout are 3 favourite of mine. But tonight it will be Haddock n Chips from the local chippy. If he's open. Which I hope he will be. Otherwise it'll be chinese.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 3 December 2006 Posted 3 December 2006 I had a fish finger butty in Fat Cats on Friday night. Or so they led me to believe that was what I was going to be consuming. (EDIT: Worst sentence construction ever.) Instead it turned out to be some sort of ludicrous plaice goujons (three) laid pathetically in a doorstep sandwich which proved impossible to eat with any grace and contained about a hundred and fifty bones. £5.45. The robbing bastards.
The People's Hero Posted 3 December 2006 Posted 3 December 2006 Earlier today I had a bacon, mushroom and onion sandwich with brown sauce and black pepper in a cafe somewhere in London. £1.75 with a cuppa. Bargain.
