chili_con_carne Posted 4 September 2006 Posted 4 September 2006 http://www.wba.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/N...~892359,00.html In my opinion we shouldn't play him on Saturday, he doesn't get stuck in enough on match days anyway and if he still loves the Baggies he wont be getting stuck in whatsoever on Saturday. Bring him on as a Sub on 70Mins and that will be enough.

Bring him on as a Sub on 70Mins and that will be enough. I understand your reasoning for not playing him on Saturday, but just a few questions. If we don't play him, who do we play there? Is Weso fit enough to start and play through? Hughes and Williams don't work in the middle together, so what are we gona do about the gap created by leaving Johnson out? Hmmm...
Tomassi Posted 4 September 2006 Posted 4 September 2006 makes an interesting read. he loves the club very much
lookwhaticando Posted 4 September 2006 Posted 4 September 2006 I hope they wont be touching 'our' nuts... As if our players need another distraction.
The People's Hero Posted 4 September 2006 Posted 4 September 2006 Johnson should think about who is paying his wages and harp on about how great we are. The rest of the eejits we employ seem to be able to do it. I'm sure LCFCWORLD would even supply him with a script. Daft nob end.

Knighton Matt Posted 4 September 2006 Posted 4 September 2006 So to clarify... Who's touching whose nuts again?!
The People's Hero Posted 4 September 2006 Posted 4 September 2006 Holly. Ours. Nine PM. Be there or face the humiliation of having to touch your own.
Knighton Matt Posted 4 September 2006 Posted 4 September 2006 Holly. Ours. Nine PM. Be there or face the humiliation of having to touch your own. She's in Spain. Conference call?!
Thracian Posted 4 September 2006 Posted 4 September 2006 I wish he'd go back to the Baggies except they wouldn't want him, whatever he thinks of em. He's not impressed me much and seems to be just collecting his last couple of seasons of paypackets as he winds down from the days when, presumably, he was quite a good footballer. Indeed, it would be nice to see an old timer at Leicester who is impressive. Kenton's been best so far but it's early days even for him.
lookwhaticando Posted 4 September 2006 Posted 4 September 2006 She's in Spain. Conference call?! Care to link my in by satellite again, KM?
The People's Hero Posted 4 September 2006 Posted 4 September 2006 She's in Spain. Conference call?! Ah, yeah... so she is. Is Cisono about? I've heard she's game

Mostly they'll never have the passion and energy of the youngsters because they'vegot nothing to prove. They've been there and done it all. It's just a living in the end.
Knighton Matt Posted 4 September 2006 Posted 4 September 2006 Care to link my in by satellite again, KM? Computer says no
Knighton Matt Posted 4 September 2006 Posted 4 September 2006 Ah, yeah... so she is. Is Cisono about? I've heard she's game That may be so but don't think she does nuts, she's quite diet concious after all. If they're unsalted you might just be in luck though
The People's Hero Posted 4 September 2006 Posted 4 September 2006 That may be so but don't think she does nuts, she's quite diet concious after all. If they're unsalted you might just be in luck though Nuts are quite fatty. Therefore they should be taxed (cross referencing of threads eh? Get me.)
wbaguesty Posted 4 September 2006 Posted 4 September 2006 I know for a fact that Johnson will get a huge welcome back at the Hawthorns on Saturday. Even though he has not got much finishing skill and his passes may not be all that accurate he has determination. He always got around in the Baggies Midfield and caused havoc, hope hes doing the same for you apart from Saturday. Haha
OBO Posted 4 September 2006 Posted 4 September 2006 He always got around in the Baggies Midfield and caused havoc, hope hes doing the same for you He bloody isn't. Take him back!
lookwhaticando Posted 4 September 2006 Posted 4 September 2006 Ah, yeah... so she is. Is Cisono about? I've heard she's game No she's not. She's busy. That may be so but don't think she does nuts, she's quite diet concious after all. If they're unsalted you might just be in luck though I wouldn't say diet concious, that makes her sound like a rabbit - eating nothing but lettuce. Nuts are quite fatty. Therefore they should be taxed (cross referencing of threads eh? Get me.) GO TPH!

Mostly they'll never have the passion and energy of the youngsters because they'vegot nothing to prove. They've been there and done it all. It's just a living in the end. That's abit unfair on Kenton, he's only 27/28 and hardly winding down as you say. He has got a point to prove because 3 or 4 seasons ago he had what looked like a really promising career ahead of him in the premeirship but it's not worked out for him and now he's been given a new lease of life. Footballers are proud people (well some are) and he'll want to hear his name being sung on the terraces just like and 18 year old from New Parks would. I've also seen plenty of 32/33 year olds who have been written off, sign for a new club and find their form again. I'm not saying Johnson will because as you say, he's been mediocre at best and looks off the pace but there are players over 30 who do have alot of football left in them. We just never seem to sign them when we insist on bringing in some experience.

Ric Flair Posted 5 September 2006 Posted 5 September 2006 Tony Cottee and Billy McKinlay for example. Correct! Plus Tim Flowers wasn't much younger.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 5 September 2006 Posted 5 September 2006 Correct! Plus Tim Flowers wasn't much younger. I actually had him in the list as well but thought people would say about how keepers usually reach their peak at an older age blah blah but yes definitely Flowers as well in my opinion. So we have had one or two.
Katy Posted 5 September 2006 Posted 5 September 2006 Im glad he said 'they' and not 'us' in the article or id be kicking his nuts, not touching them. If he loves them that much bugger off back there.
