Alexikokopops Posted 6 September 2006 Posted 6 September 2006 Currently 10-0 to Germany Tommy "The Hammer" Hitzlesperger just scored the 10th. Podolski has 4
lcfc_jme Posted 6 September 2006 Posted 6 September 2006 Quite a mauling. I said to my mate earlier when Podolski got his first that he'd get a hat-trick and Germany would score 5 or 6. Didn't predict 10 though But in all fairness, San Marino aren't reknowned for their footballing abilities are they??
Alexikokopops Posted 6 September 2006 Author Posted 6 September 2006 Still managed to score against England though In record time as well.
Alexikokopops Posted 6 September 2006 Author Posted 6 September 2006 13-0, Schneider's just scored a penalty in the 90th minute.

Is an amazing score. Bet they played much more inspiring football than England did tonight. San Marino to qualify?!?!?!?!?!!!
Tommeh Posted 6 September 2006 Posted 6 September 2006 On the England game at the bottom it had the latest goalflashes and whenever one come up I just knew it would be more goals for Germany! was 6-0 at h/t
C-man Posted 6 September 2006 Posted 6 September 2006 A good raping by the germans. That statement can apply to the German women's team when they maul a weaker side.
stulcfc Posted 7 September 2006 Posted 7 September 2006 that was about as one sided as a race between linford cristey and a 60 year old smoker with a walking stik running to 100 meters
OBO Posted 7 September 2006 Posted 7 September 2006 13-0 is surely some kind of record in a competitive match?! Absolutely intense!
Nationwider Posted 8 September 2006 Posted 8 September 2006 Isn't it about time they started a Remedial League for the likes of Andorra, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, San Marino and Khazakakakakstan??? The Euro qualifiers are staring to get very bloated. Why not run a Chumps League at the same time as the proper qualifiers with the top two teams, qualifying for the next big tourny, and the two teams with the worst record in the proper thing relegated to the Chumps League for next time. Actually, I can answer my own question there - money. Without fixtures like Germany and England, the smaller sides' FAs would probably go bust. If I were a Prem mananger, I'd be pissed off if my players were having to play against Andorra etc. Win guaranteed whoever plays, with the constant risk of some brickie from the Vatican hacking down my best player. I'd like to see Macca play the U21s for England's next such fixture.

I dont think that making a competiton for the shite nations is fair becasue it's easy points towards qualification for us and Maybe 3 years ago you would have put Northern Ireland In there, but now look at them I agree with what you said about not playing our best players though.
