syston_fox Posted 13 September 2006 Posted 13 September 2006 Leeds 0 - 1 Sunderland As things stand, we'll be in the bottom three tonight
Maybes Posted 13 September 2006 Posted 13 September 2006 Deserved after the dismall performances this season bar 1 against ipswich! Who scored for them?
syston_fox Posted 13 September 2006 Author Posted 13 September 2006 Liam Miller. No Dwight Yorke in the squad again so looks like his debut will be against us on saturday.
Leicester Lass Posted 13 September 2006 Posted 13 September 2006 3-0 Not looking too good for our trip on Saturday
syston_fox Posted 13 September 2006 Author Posted 13 September 2006 It wasnt looking good anyway. I think Connolly might be out on saturday though because he was substituted just before half time. Must be pretty bad or they'd have played with 10 men till the interval and gotten the medical staff to take a look to see if he could carry on.
Foxhateram Posted 13 September 2006 Posted 13 September 2006 sunderland are going to be full of confidence and well up for it, where we go in with um heads down? im not looking forward to saturday.
Leicester Lass Posted 13 September 2006 Posted 13 September 2006 If it stays as it is won't Leeds be below us on goal difference?
syston_fox Posted 13 September 2006 Author Posted 13 September 2006 Well spotted. Didnt think of that! Delay the inevitable bottom three till the weekend then!
Leicester Lass Posted 13 September 2006 Posted 13 September 2006 We'll just have to hope it stays as it is then!
Maybes Posted 13 September 2006 Posted 13 September 2006 Cant believe sunderland....what a turn around...
syston_fox Posted 13 September 2006 Author Posted 13 September 2006 I dont think anyone expected them to stay down there for too long though. Its just typical that we have to play them as they hit top form!
dandannieldanok Posted 13 September 2006 Posted 13 September 2006 It's amazing what money can do. If Quinn had given Keane nothing to spend, he would have never got these early wins.
dandannieldanok Posted 13 September 2006 Posted 13 September 2006 Unsuprisingly, ITV ceefax report says the fans called for the head of Kevin Blackwell.
zoomzoom55 Posted 13 September 2006 Posted 13 September 2006 Keano. There's only one Keano. There's only one Keano, there's only one Keano!! As far as Saturday goes:
SmilerFTM Posted 13 September 2006 Posted 13 September 2006 It's amazing what money can do. If Quinn had given Keane nothing to spend, he would have never got these early wins. We've hardly spent anything. Less than a million in fact if you take into consideration the players we've sold
rokerlegend Posted 13 September 2006 Posted 13 September 2006 It's amazing what money can do. If Quinn had given Keane nothing to spend, he would have never got these early wins. i disagree. The turn-a-round for us came against West Brom when we beat them 2-0 on the last Bank Holiday Monday. Keane was there but not in charge, but the difference between that game and the previous season.4 games was unbelievable. In fact we have sold 5.5 million worth of players and spent 5 million since relegation. We just seem to be riding on the crest of a wave at the moment. And it will be typical Sunderland to falter just when things are looking up. For any of you lot coming up, I hope you have a cracking day but a sh!t match. All the best Foxes fans (after Sat).
syston_fox Posted 13 September 2006 Author Posted 13 September 2006 For any of you lot coming up, I hope you have a cracking day but a sh!t match. Sadly Im kind of looking forward to it because I know the day out up north will be a good one regardless of the match.....although i bet I wont be saying that come 5pm on sat! :pinch:
Wils Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 Great result for them. Were gonna get batterd....
Fez of Mahrez Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 Not looking forward to this one at all. Kavanagh and Miller are Premiership class players.
Mort Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 All the best Foxes fans (after Sat). Sunderland's my second club (dad's family from Mack'em land)... confused isnt the word for how I'm feeling heading into Saturday, still in the end I'll always be backing city
