davieG Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 From OS Duo Available Darren Kenton and Danny Tiatto have both been passed fit ahead of Saturday's Championship clash against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light. Kenton was forced to leave the field at half-time through sickness when the Foxes faced Hull City on Tuesday night, while Tiatto has been recovering from a thigh injury. But speaking at his pre-match press briefing on Thursday afternoon, City boss Rob Kelly was able to confirm that the duo would be available for selection for the trip. He said: "Danny has trained all week, which is good news. He will be included in the squad to travel up to Sunderland. "We had to bring Darren off at the break on Tuesday night, but he is much better now and should therefore also be available." But Kelly will still be without the services of midfielder Gareth Williams for the contest. He added: "Gareth is carrying an ankle problem so he will struggle for the weekend."
Ric Flair Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 So, Tiatto is definately in the 16 then. If he drops Porter for him then that's me and Kelly finished. That will confirm my suspicions regarding his tactical ineptness.

Benji Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 Given Tiatto's not to bad start to the season and Weso's fitness I may be inclined to stick him in for Johnson...... Struggling to see why not, if your going to play Hughes in midfield your going to need someone who's going to run around like a mad head and put the foot in. Yes, he probably will end up getting booked, but that will just give people something new to moan about rather than Hughes not putting in a tackle when you know it's not in his game.
Ric Flair Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 Given Tiatto's not to bad start to the season and Weso's fitness I may be inclined to stick him in for Johnson...... I'd only play Tiatto there as a last resort, he was terrible against Luton, Burnley and Southend. But he did do well against Ipswich for 45 minutes. Weso is far more likely to last 60 minutes than Tiatto is given his track record.
Ric Flair Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 I just know Porter will be made a scapegoat for a poor results and in comes Danny Tiatto to solve the problems. It's an outrage.

Team selection for Sunderland means more to me now than any match for so long because of key concerns. If it's Tiatto/Johnson/Hughes/Low then I just... I don't... I... ugh...

Good point though I suppouse, his carear could well be on the way to over....at this level anyway, I doubt he will ever play enough games to get any kind of form going, we will just play 3 or 4 games playing poorly most of the time before getting injured or suspended.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 Southend....bit harsh he did set the goal up. Stop trying to defend him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Suffolk_fox Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 I sold Tiatto for 200k on FM06! One born every minute apparently...
Manwell Pablo Posted 14 September 2006 Posted 14 September 2006 Stop trying to defend him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's not my fault you lot keep trying to scape goat certain player every single game and seem to ignore Fraytt when his inabilty to finish costs us at least a point or when Mcarthy (not in your case I'll admit) gets sent off or plays poorly. Fryatt espically last game seems to have diped under the radar, it seems to me most people have totally misjudged the Hull game, we played better football than they did and created more, and while our midfield did look poor at times Fryatt did not put his chances away!
