Two places below US in the League (suprised that is still possible ) So one of the teams below us has shown some ambition to get them up the league another Championship side building well. It gets more and more dire, Im gutted but not surprised.

I echo that mate. Always rated him. The Villa gate could raise the funds aswell for him. We had a bid accepted for him the summer we signed Elvis but he chose to go to Southampton as Redknapp was there.

I know he's fairly inconsistent but he's got that goalscoring threat that none of our strikers really have (for all their good work, there's no evidence that either of Fryatt and Hume will score more than about 12 goals each at this level.) And he always seems to score against us! (Preston away the promotion year he ran Elliott ragged and scored two great goals. Ipswich away last season he scored against us then went back to Southampton and scored against us for them too!)
