Earliest Christmas Decorations 2006?

I went for dinner tonight with my wife and kids to a pub called The Bugle in Brading on the Isle of Wight. They've got their Christmas Tree up already with lights, fake snow, fake presents etc!!!

I couldn't believe it! It was really wierd once it got dark outside - it felt really Christmassy!

It feels especially wierd as down here as it's still really warm and will be until mid-October.

The island's gone crazy!

Can't make up my mind whether it's early for 2006 or late for 2005.

Wouldn't surprise me if it was the latter down here

radio 5 had a chap from st austall council on, the other day, as they've got their light up too. ha claimed they had to put them up as there was 'no where to store them' i wondered where they'd been stored from last christmas til last week; when they went up!
