Louise Posted 1 October 2006 Posted 1 October 2006 Our last season in the Prem was the one I was probably most angry in... The 4-3 to Wolves, 3-3 at Boro, 2-1 against Spurs, 1-1 with Newcastle... so many last minute goals...the 1-1 with Everton when Bent scored a perfectly good goal which was disallowed, Freund got attacked on the pitch and my dad got smacked by an Everton fan on the way home... the 1-1 at home to Charlton when it wasn't a pen, the 2-0 to Birmingham with 2 players sent off, Bolton away with bloody cheating Campo, 3-1 to Man City in the cup another collapse, 1-0 away to Blackburn bloody Dabizas own goal, Man City at home Dickov missing his first pen for us and us going down, Charlton away Dabizas sending off that was later resinded... Not to mention the 5-0 against Villa. No point getting angry now, it's all too dull and boring to care about that much anymore.
lcfc_jme Posted 1 October 2006 Posted 1 October 2006 theres to many crap games to mention, but 4-0 bolton springs to mind 1st game of seaon against a newly promoted team. Wasn't that 5-0?? 5-0 at Villa was quite painful as well Not to mention the times we were relegated, or when we conceded leads and goals in games we were comfortable in and should have won

lcfc_jme Posted 1 October 2006 Posted 1 October 2006 So basically whenever MA was the manager, then. when you put it that way and analyse what I said, yes. Grandpa FC didn't really help me to keep calm and happy at all times, we wasted fantastic positions in countless games, and I for one was continually pissed off by it
lookwhaticando Posted 1 October 2006 Posted 1 October 2006 That performance at Wolves was absolutely gut-wrenching stuff. I was just stunned when I heard we'd blown such a lead, I was mortified when I saw the highlights (being such a high scoring game it was one of the longer highlights - showing every costly error to the fullest) :pinch: Still, at least we can look back now and laugh  Or can we? Oddly enough, does anyone remember the hilarity in football form that was our 4-4 draw away to Tottenham? The catalogue of errors at both ends of the pitch, by both teams, was just too much. You had to laugh.
MC Prussian Posted 1 October 2006 Posted 1 October 2006 This is rather a cheer-up game, remember this one?
lcfc_jme Posted 1 October 2006 Posted 1 October 2006 Foxes Never Quit No they don't. But they only seem to want to score when they're a goal or more behind
Knighton Matt Posted 1 October 2006 Posted 1 October 2006 This is rather a cheer-up game, remember this one? Brilliant. Bring back the old PA chap that's what I say! "Hello everyone, the Leicester City goalscorer, no.5, STEVE WALSH!"
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 October 2006 Author Posted 1 October 2006 Brilliant. Bring back the old PA chap that's what I say! "Hello everyone, the Leicester City goalscorer, no.5, STEVE WALSH!" Mel. Gone but never forgotten.
davieG Posted 1 October 2006 Posted 1 October 2006 No they don't. But they only seem to want to score when they're a goal or more behind I was talking in the past tense
lcfc_jme Posted 1 October 2006 Posted 1 October 2006 I was talking in the past tense Didn't read it that way, read it as a present tense statement
Durnerz Posted 1 October 2006 Posted 1 October 2006 Most angry? Probably at Akinbiyi when we played Liverpool at home in the 01/02 season and lost 4-1. The amount of chances he wasted was unbelievable, and like so many on this thread,my language that day was not for the easily offended.
Wils Posted 1 October 2006 Posted 1 October 2006 Loosing at home to Rotherham on boxing day,or last season at Norwich away when Huckerby dived for that pen at the end.
